[¶11A] • This web site does not condition your child's participation in any activities on your child's disclosing more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the activity.

¶12 We also share responsibility for helping children, their families and communities find the information they need to use the Internet safely and responsibly. Therefore,

¶13 • All links from an American Bible Society site to third party sites are insulated with a Kids bridge page. These pages clearly notify the visitor that he or she is leaving kingsleysmeadow.com. They notify the visitor that other sites may use different information practices and that children should obtain parental permission before they answer information-gathering questions, and offer an opportunity to return to kingsleysmeadow.com.

¶14 • Each bridge page displays a Web literacy tip, educating visitors how to be safe on the Internet.

¶15 • Since we cannot be assured that links to outside sites follow our safety or privacy guidelines, we encourage adults and children to discuss these choices together. We are not responsible for the content or safety and privacy practices at any sites linked from our pages.

¶16 • We make it a high priority to empower children to make informed choices.

¶17 We encourage you to spend time online with your children, and to become familiar with the types of content on Kingsleysmeadow.com, americanbible, org, and the Internet in general. Parents should regularly oversee their children's use of e-mail and other online communications and transactional features.

¶18 Control tools are available from online services, and software manufacturers that can help provide a safe online environment for kids. You can find out about software that protects your children at the Direct Marketing Association's home page at: http://www.the-dma.org.

¶19 If your child has used your credit card on any American Bible Society website without your permission, contact us immediately at webpolicy@americanbible.org.

¶20 You may review any personal information that you or your child submit to this web site at the time that you submit it, and may correct any inaccuracies and/or delete information at that time. If your child submits any personal information to us, you may (1) review that personal information, (2) obtain a description of our information collection practices, and/or (3) request that we not collect or use that information and that we delete it from our systems, if you submit a request to do so to us in a manner that permits us to reliably verify that you are the parent or legal guardian of that child. To submit such a request, you may contact us by e-mail at webpolicy@americanbible.org, by telephone at 212-408-1200.

If a child has provided us with personally identifiable information, a parent or guardian of that child should contact us by sending an email to webpolicy@americanbible.org.
